Bishkek, May 4, 2026. /Kabar/. Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Seychelles Barry Faure.
According to the department, during the talks, the parties discussed issues of developing political dialogue, expanding the contractual and legal framework, as well as strengthening trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, including in the fields of agriculture, tourism, education and digital governance, as well as interaction on sustainable development and climate issues. It was noted that this visit is the first visit of the Head of the Foreign Ministry of the Seychelles to Kyrgyzstan in the history of bilateral relations. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was signed on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Seychelles for short-term visits.
As part of the visit, meetings at the highest levels are also planned.
As a reminder, on May 3-6, 2026, at the invitation of Jeenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Seychelles, Barry Faure, is an official visit to Kyrgyzstan.
