Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2026 /Kabar/. On September 23, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, a meeting took place between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Juraj Blanár.
During the discussion, the parties addressed prospects for intensifying political dialogue, arranging mutual visits at the highest and high levels, expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation, and collaborating on sanctions-related issues.
To give fresh impetus to Kyrgyz-Slovak relations and realize the existing potential for cooperation, the importance of expanding the legal framework governing bilateral ties was discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Kulubaev invited the Slovak side to participate in the Second Global Mountain Summit "Bishkek+25," scheduled to be held in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2027, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in advancing sustainable development in mountain regions.
