Bishkek, Nov. 19, 2025. /Kabar/. Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation of Kyrgyzstan Baktiyar Orozov met with Turkish Ambassador Mekin Mustafa Kemal Ökem.
According to the ministry, during the ambassador's return courtesy visit, the parties held a thorough discussion of the current state and future directions of Kyrgyz-Turkish cooperation in the priority areas of higher education, science, and innovation.
The parties agreed to expedite work on signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Higher Education Council of the Republic of Turkiye (YÖK).
The document aims to systematize and deepen cooperation in the educational sphere.
Furthermore, issues of joint work in the development of technology parks, the implementation of scientific and technological projects, and the expansion of the innovative potential of the two countries were discussed.
