Bishkek, July 30, 2026 /Kabar/. Within the framework of the III Kyrgyz-Uzbek Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions, the Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of Kyrgyzstan Gulzat Isamatova and the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of Uzbekistan Kongratbay Sharipov discussed a number of issues related to universities of the two countries.
According to the ministry, among them was a draft agreement on mutual recognition of academic credits between universities.
The parties also discussed issues of expanding academic mobility of students and teachers, conducting joint scientific research and developing innovative entrepreneurship.
In addition, the ministers expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation in the field of education and science.
