A meeting was held at the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK) with representatives of the "Trade Union Tourism" Enterprise of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan, AZERTAG reported.
During the meeting, the participants discussed measures taken by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation to protect labor rights, preserve the health of its members, and organize their recreation. The Kyrgyz delegation was informed about the mechanism of issuing vouchers through the "E-AHIK" Electronic Reservation System, as well as the activities of the Confederation's "Kurort" Tourism Information Center and the Tourism and Excursions Council.
The delegation was also briefed on the activities of the "Kurort" Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC), alongside reconstruction and digitalization efforts carried out in various health and recreation centers.
Kubanychbek Kanybekov, Director General of the "Trade Union Tourism" Enterprise of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan, noted that during the visit, they closely familiarized themselves with the conditions created, management mechanisms applied, and services provided at the health and recreation centers of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, highlighting the value of the experience gained.
Following the discussions, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the sanatorium-resort and tourism sectors was signed between "Kurort" CJSC, a subordinate organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, and the "Trade Union Tourism" Enterprise of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan.
The memorandum envisages exchange of experience between the parties, implementation of joint initiatives in areas of mutual interest, and expansion of cooperation in the sanatorium-resort and tourism sectors.
