Bishkek, Dec. 12, 2025. /Kabar/. At the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev outlined a number of issues requiring further attention and coordinated action by the Union member states.

Speaking about mutual trade, he noted that over the past ten years, mutual trade has doubled to $100 billion, but the share of intra-Union trade does not exceed 15%.

According to him, 98% of Kyrgyzstan's mutual trade is with Russia and Kazakhstan, underscoring their key role. However, the potential for trade with Armenia and Belarus remains underutilized.

"Expanding the structure of mutual trade requires joint improvement of access conditions not only to raw materials and financial resources, but also to new technologies. We face the strategic task of developing modern production chains, stimulating innovation, and strengthening technological sovereignty," he said.
