Bishkek, Oct. 15, 2026 /Kabar/. Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" OJSC met with Ivan Bednarik, Minister of Transport of the Czech Republic.
During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for establishing direct air service between Bishkek and Prague, the development of passenger and cargo air transport, and the expansion of cooperation within the aviation sector.
Following the meeting, a tour of the renovated Manas International Airport was organized for the Czech delegation. The guests were shown the modernized infrastructure, the airport’s advanced technical capabilities, and the innovative solutions that have been implemented. They were also briefed on ongoing projects and future development prospects for Kyrgyzstan’s aviation system.
The next step will be a visit by a delegation from JSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" to Prague International Airport to hold further negotiations and reach concrete agreements on launching direct air service between Bishkek and Prague.
