Bishkek, Nov. 5, 2025./Kabar/. As part of their participation in the Second World Summit for Social Development held in Doha, Qatar, Kyrgyz Minister of Education Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva and Deputy Minister for Digital Development Lira Samykbaeva held a working meeting with representatives of the global education program Education Above All (EAA).
The parties discussed the possibility of implementing educational projects in Kyrgyzstan with EAA support. Program representatives noted that the organization provides financial and organizational support for educational initiatives in various countries, ranging from preschool education to training and subsequent employment for youth. The issue of supporting girls and women in STEM fields was also discussed. EAA places particular emphasis on this and considers increasing the proportion of girls in STEM one of its key priorities.
The parties agreed to continue the dialogue and explore the possibility of launching joint initiatives in the Kyrgyz Republic.
For reference: Education Above All program was established in 2012 at the initiative of Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and operates in more than 59 countries worldwide. Its mission is to ensure access to quality education for children and youth from vulnerable groups, including those living in unstable, poor, or socially vulnerable situations.
