Bishkek, Aug. 24, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and India intend to expand practical cooperation in emergency prevention and response, Kyrgyz Emergency Situations Minister Kanatbek Chynybaev and Indian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Birender Singh Yadav.
According to the relevant ministry, the parties discussed the exchange of experience and the implementation of modern technologies, as well as cooperation between the Kyrgyz Ministry of Emergency Situations and the National Emergency Management Agency of the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs.
In particular, the discussion focused on the exchange of experts and delegations, joint exercises, and training and advanced training for Kyrgyz Ministry of Emergency Situations specialists at relevant Indian organizations.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in further strengthening cooperation aimed at increasing the capacity of emergency services and the effectiveness of their response to natural and man-made emergencies.
