Bishkek, Aug 3. 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Hong Kong discussed prospects for developing investment cooperation and the possibility of attracting foreign investment in priority economic sectors. This was announced during a meeting between the head of the National Investment Agency, Ravshanbek Sabirov, and representatives of Xinhua Panfeng Holdings Hong Kong Limited.
"The National Investment Agency is consistently working to expand international investment cooperation and is always open to considering initiatives aimed at attracting investment and implementing mutually beneficial projects," Ravshanbek Sabirov emphasized. According to the agency, company representatives presented proposals for joint investment projects, developing industrial cooperation, introducing modern technologies, and expanding collaboration with Hong Kong financial institutions.
Particular attention was also paid to prospects for cooperation in industry, infrastructure, renewable energy, logistics, and agricultural processing.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in continuing the dialogue and agreed to further jointly develop the proposed initiatives.
