Bishkek, July 13, 2026. /Kabar/. Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency Meerimbek Koichumanov met with a delegation led by Matteo Zoppas, President of Italian Foreign Trade Agency (ITA) and Mariateresa Maschio, President of the Italian Federation of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers (FederUnacoma).
According to the agency, representatives of ITA, FederUnacoma, the Embassy of Italy in Kazakhstan and the Honorary Consulate in Kyrgyzstan also attended the event.
The parties discussed the investment potential of Kyrgyzstan, priority areas of the state investment policy and prospects for mutual cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the production of agricultural machinery, processing of agricultural products, production of building materials and furniture, medicine, dentistry and HoReCa.
In addition, the opportunities for locating Italian production in free economic zones of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the opportunities of Issyk-Kul region and Tamchy special financial and investment zone were presented.
As a result, the parties agreed to continue cooperation in expanding investment ties, promoting joint initiatives and organizing events with the participation of Italian business representatives.
