Bishkek, Oct. 9, 2026 /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Seytek Zhumakadyr uulu held a meeting with the Ambassador of Korea to Kyrgyzstan, Kim Kwang-jae, to discuss issues regarding investment cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for the further development of trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea.
Particular attention was paid to attracting Korean investments, implementing joint investment projects, developing industrial cooperation, localizing production, and introducing modern technologies.
The Kyrgyz side expressed interest in the active participation of Korean companies in the implementation of major investment projects and proposed strengthening the support mechanism for Korean investors in Kyrgyzstan.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their interest in further strengthening the Kyrgyz-Korean economic partnership and moving toward the practical implementation of joint projects.
