Bishkek, April 22, 2026 /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic Lira Samykbaeva and Director of the Education Department of JSC "Tunduk" Bekturgan Babayev have been participating in the International Summit on Artificial Intelligence in Education ("AI for Education") in Almaty since April 21.
According to the Ministry of Education, the summit brought together representatives of government agencies, international organizations, and the expert community to discuss the implementation of AI in the educational process and the development of digital competencies.
It is noted that the Ministry of Education has begun implementing projects to digitalize teacher certification and to digitalize the National Testing.
In her speech, Lira Samykbaeva emphasized the importance of the safe and ethical use of technology, protecting students' personal data, and implementing a human-centered approach when integrating artificial intelligence-based solutions.
As part of the working visit, the delegation also visited the Almaty Regional Testing Center, where they learned about the digital solutions used in assessment procedures, including proctoring and academic integrity systems.
During the meeting, representatives of the center demonstrated the testing infrastructure, including modern computer labs, personal identification and exam monitoring systems, and analytical tools for processing results.
The parties discussed improving the assessment system and prospects for cooperation in the digitalization of education.
