Bishkek, March 16, 2026. /Kabar/. The leadership of the Ministry of Education held meeting with education officials from Karakol, Ak-Suu, Jeti-Oguz, and Tyup districts in the Issyk-Kul region.

During the meeting, Education Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva announced that the country plans to increase preschool education enrollment to 80% by 2028.

According to her, the education reform also addresses issues such as the transition to a 12-year education system, the functioning of digital platforms, transparency and accessibility of the educational process, and the introduction of new subject standards.
