Kyrgyzstan prepares to supply apricots and peaches to China

Bishkek, June 26, 2025. /Kabar/. The Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection and Quarantine, together with the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, is conducting remote inspections of apricot and peach orchards, as well as packaging shops in the Batken, Osh and Issyk-Kul regions.

The Ministry of Agriculture reported that the event is being held as part of the implementation of the Protocol between Kyrgyzstan and China on the supply of stone fruit crops.

During inspections, experts from the two countries assess:

the phytosanitary condition of orchards,

conditions for harvesting, storing and packaging apricots and peaches.

The goal of the work is to confirm the compliance of Kyrgyz products with the phytosanitary requirements of China and ensure their uninterrupted export to the Chinese market.

Video inspections are part of procedures aimed at expanding foreign trade cooperation and promoting agricultural products of Kyrgyzstan to international markets.
