Bishkek, July 3, 2026 /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan Meerimbek Koichumanov met with Indonesian Deputy Foreign Minister Muhammad Anis Matta.
According to the National Investment Agency, during the meeting, the Kyrgyz side presented Kyrgyzstan's investment potential, shared information on ongoing reforms in the country, mechanisms for state support for investors, and priority areas for the implementation of joint projects.
The parties focused on attracting foreign direct investment, Islamic finance, the halal industry, the digital economy, and cooperation in information technology.
They discuss expanding trade and economic ties, strengthening cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, and exchanging experience in implementing investment policies.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Indonesia and expressed their readiness to implement joint initiatives aimed at strengthening their economic partnership.
