Bishkek, Oct. 26, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan presented its experience in preventing and curbing illegal migration at meeting of joint CIS commission held in Astana.
According to the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration, representatives from Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in the meeting, which took place on October 22, 2026.
The parties discussed issues such as identifying channels of illegal migration, preventing foreign nationals from working illegally, cooperating on readmission, and protecting the rights of migrants.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Kyrgyzstan expressed its interest in strengthening interstate cooperation and expanding the exchange of information in the field of migration.
