Bishkek, July 10, 2026. /Kabar/. The delegation of Kyrgyzstan held a number of meetings with international financial institutions, rating agencies and investors during its working visit to Singapore.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the delegation included representatives of the presidential administration, the Ministries of Economy, Finance and the National Bank.
At a meeting with representatives of the Moody's rating agency, the Kyrgyz side noted the country's stable economic growth. For example, according to the results of January-June 2026, the growth of the Kyrgyz economy amounted to 12.2 percent.
Deputy Minister of Economy Mederbek Tumanov emphasized that the country's economy is diversifying through industry, services, tourism, and infrastructure projects.
In addition, the delegation held a bilateral meeting with representatives of the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the financial sector. They discussed issues of banking supervision and digitalization of the financial sector, attracting direct investment and improving the business environment, and cooperation in international capital markets.
As a result of the meetings, the parties expressed their readiness to expand investment partnership and deepen rating interaction.
