Bishkek, Nov. 4, 2025 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan will participate in the Second World Summit for Social Development in Qatar from November 4 to 6, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education reported.

According to the ministry, as part of the summit, Kyrgyzstan held a special session, "Investing in Human Capital: Programs and Best Practices in the Kyrgyz Republic," organized with the support of UNICEF and Marshall Cavendish Education.

The session focused on key areas of education reform in Kyrgyzstan: developing human capital, creating an equitable and sustainable education system, and preparing the younger generation for life and work in a modern world. Kyrgyzstan presented its ongoing educational reforms, including the gradual transition to 12-year education. Priorities were also presented, including the creation of STEM labs, ensuring equal participation of girls in education, developing preschool education, fostering an environmental culture, and strengthening vocational education.

Ministry emphasized that no country can undertake educational transformation alone. In the face of global challenges and climate risks, international solidarity and partnership play a crucial role.

"We are convinced that investing in education is investing in peace, in a sustainable society, in conscious citizens. It is education that makes possible a future where people live in harmony with themselves, with others, and with the planet," said Education Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva.
