Kyrgyzstan to attract investment from South Korea

Bishkek, July 16, 2026. /Kabar/. Head of the National Investment Agency Ravshanbek Sabirov met with the Ambassador of Korea to Kyrgyzstan Kim Kwangje.

According to the agency, at the meeting the parties discussed the possibilities of attracting South Korean capital to the country, protecting the rights of investors and implementing joint projects.

Ravshanbek Sabirov provided the Korean side with detailed information on the work being done to improve the investment climate, in particular the "single window" principle that accompanies investors.

"Kyrgyzstan is open to South Korean investors. We are interested in attracting modern technologies, creating new industries and implementing projects that contribute to strengthening long-term partnership between the two countries," Sabirov said.

In turn, Ambassador Kim Kwang-je stressed that the South Korean side is ready to further develop economic partnership with Kyrgyzstan and build new bridges of cooperation between the business communities of the two countries.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue a constructive dialogue on the concrete implementation of joint initiatives.
