Kyrgyzstan to introduce electronic vehicle passports

Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2025. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev held a meeting on implementation of the electronic vehicle passport system.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers' press service, Nurlan Aidiev, IT Deputy Director at the Kyzmat State Institution under the Administrative Department of President, presented detailed information on the project's goals, the expected benefits for vehicle owners and government agencies, the identified problems and challenges, and the key stages of its implementation.

During the meeting, attention was focused on the importance of aligning technical solutions with the legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union. The development of necessary regulatory framework and information support regulating the use of electronic vehicle passports was emphasized. The developed system will enable citizens to obtain electronic passports for exported and re-exported vehicles. They also discussed launch of pilot projects to test technologies and optimize work processes.

Following the meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev gave a number of specific instructions to relevant government agencies.
