Bishkek, April 20, 2026 /Kabar/. Ministry of Education held meeting with representatives of World Bank to discuss key education projects and their implementation results.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Education Nadira Dzhusupbekova, World Bank Education Team Co-Head Saurav Dev Bhatta, Senior Education Specialist Gulmira Sultanova, and heads of the ministry's departments.

The negotiations focused on the completion of the Education for the Future Project (LFFP), the status of the Additional Financing (AF), the results of the Strengthening Foundations of Learning Project (EFLP), and fiduciary, social, and environmental oversight.

The initiatives are aimed at improving the quality of education, developing students' modern skills, and strengthening the learning system. The World Bank provides support through financing, technical assistance, and the implementation of international best practices, as well as promoting improved governance, monitoring, and evaluation of results in the education sector.
