Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2026 /Kabar/. Mederbek Tumanov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, and Hugh Riddell, Head of the World Bank Group’s Country Office in Kyrgyzstan, signed an agreement on October 7.

Under the agreement, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce and the World Bank Group will foster cooperation in the field of alternative investment specifically, raising funds for businesses through new investment mechanisms.
