Issyk-Kul, Sept. 4, 2026 /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz kuroshu competition was held at the Gazprom Sports and Recreation Complex as part of the VI World Nomad Games.
Eighty-one athletes from 43 countries participated in the competition.
Winners and runners-up:
Up to 60 kg:
1st place - Tolubay Shukurov (Kyrgyzstan)
2nd place - Zhamoliddin Nematullaev (Uzbekistan)
3rd place - Giorgi Inashvili (Georgia)
3rd place - Munkhbat Gankuyazh (Mongolia)
Up to 84 kg:
1st place - Azizkhan Musabek uulu (Kyrgyzstan)
2nd place - Khusan Abdukhamidov (Uzbekistan)
3rd place - Navruz Karimzod (Tajikistan)
3rd place - Atageldi Tezhendurdyev (Turkmenistan)
Over 100 kg:
1st place - Baktiyar Mirlan uulu (Kyrgyzstan)
2nd place - Almas Zhumagali (Kazakhstan)
3rd place — Sarvar Ikromov (Uzbekistan)
3rd place — Bat-Orshkin Batsuuri (Mongolia)
The winners received cash prizes:
