Bishkek, July 15, 2026 /Kabar/. Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation of Kyrgyzstan Gulzat Isamatova met with Daren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)б Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation informs.
During the meeting, the parties noted the positive results of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and WIPO and discussed promising areas for further collaboration.
Particular attention was paid to the development of the national intellectual property system and innovation ecosystem, support for small and medium-sized businesses, the promotion of technology transfer and the commercialization of scientific research results, and strengthening the intellectual property capacity of universities.
The parties confirmed their commitment to further strengthening the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and WIPO.
At the end of the meeting, Gulzat Isamatova invited the WIPO Director General to participate in the Second Global Mountain Summit "Bishkek+25," which will be held in Kyrgyzstan in October 2027.
