Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2026 /Kabar/. The national cuisine and culinary traditions of Kyrgyzstan have been showcased at an open-air photo exhibition titled "Food That Unites Us" in the center of Budapest. UN FAO reports.
The exhibition was organized as part of a campaign marking World Food Day. The display introduces residents and visitors of the Hungarian capital to the diversity of food products, dishes, and culinary traditions from the region.
The photographs are accompanied by stories detailing how local communities preserve traditional dietary customs while implementing innovations to ensure a sustainable future.
"Kyrgyzstan’s participation in the exhibition offers an opportunity to introduce an international audience to the richness of its national cuisine and to demonstrate how food brings people, generations, and cultures together," the statement says.
