Bishkek, July 16, 2026. /Kabar/. In January-June 2026, the volume of industrial production in the country amounted to 450.4 billion soms, the National Statistics Committee reports.
According to the information, the index of physical volume of production compared to the same period last year was 112.7 percent, that is, the growth was 12.7 percent.
This successful indicator was ensured by growth in the following areas:
- chemical products - by 2.9 times;
- pharmaceutical products - by 1.8 times;
- petroleum products, wood, paper and printing - by 1.7 times;
- vehicles - by 40.7 percent;
- construction materials – by 33.4 percent;
- mining – by 12.8 percent;
- metal production – by 11.9 percent;
- food and beverages – by 8.2 percent.
Along with this, positive trends were also recorded in other important sectors of the economy. In particular, the volume of work in the construction sector increased by 1.7 times.
Agriculture – by 4.3 percent, and wholesale and retail trade turnover – by 5 percent.
