Kyrgyzstan's mining sector brings 46.5 bln soms in taxes

Bishkek, July 29, 2026. /Kabar/. In January-June 2026, taxes and payments from the mining sector in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 46.5 billion soms, an increase of 18.2 billion soms compared to the same period last year. This was reported at meeting of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision.

According to the information, in the first six months of 2025 this figure amounted to 28.3 billion soms. Thus, steady growth was observed in the sector, and revenues to the state budget increased significantly.

The increase in income from license maintenance fees (LMF) was noted as one of the main achievements. According to the results of the first six months of this year, 461.1 million soms were received from this direction, and the approved annual plan was fulfilled by 122.85%. As a result, the plan was exceeded by 85.7 million soms.

It is worth noting that the ministry held collegial meeting on the results of the first half of this year, they analyzed the activities of structural divisions and key indicators.
