Bishkek, July 22, 2026. /Kabar/. A three-day business mission of Kyrgyz textile and clothing manufacturers has started in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, as part of the "Export Acceleration" program.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the event was organized by the Trade Representation of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan, the Kyrgyz Export State Institution, and the Textile Development Center.
The business mission is being attended by 52 representatives from more than 35 textile and clothing enterprises of the country. Its main goal is to facilitate the entry of Kyrgyz manufacturers into the Uzbek market and strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the program, the delegation participated in the TFT Expo 2026 international exhibition and held negotiations with new partners. The businessmen also visited the logistics center of the Uzum Market company and discussed the possibilities of selling Kyrgyz products through the marketplace.
In addition, four Kyrgyz entrepreneurs were assisted in registering legal entities in Uzbekistan, which allowed them to conduct their activities in the country and sell their products online. Representatives of the delegation visited large textile enterprises of Uzbekistan.
