Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2025. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov, as part of the promotion of economic diplomacy, held a repeat meeting in Dammam with founder of one of the major Saudi companies, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sumou holding, Ayed Al-Qahtani.
The diplomatic mission reported that during the meeting the parties focused on the implementation of promising projects in Kyrgyzstan, including in the field of Islamic banking, real estate and renewable energy sources.
Maripov spoke in detail about the activities carried out by the working group on previously reached agreements and projects of interest to the interlocutor. He briefly touched on new promising projects in Kyrgyzstan.
He invited the interlocutor to take part in the Second Investment Forum "Central Asia - Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf", which will be held in Bishkek this summer.
Al-Qahtani expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for the information provided on the country's promising projects, and also expressed his readiness to take part in the upcoming investment forum. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working in areas of mutual interest.
