Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of "Manas International Airport" OJSC, paid working visit to the Osh and Jalal-Abad regions to review the progress of construction work on the new terminal complex at Osh International Airport and the new Jalal-Abad International Airport.
During the visit, the company head toured the construction sites, assessed the pace of work, verified compliance with quality standards, and heard reports from responsible specialists and representatives of the contracting organizations.
Particular attention was paid to ensuring that construction proceeded according to approved schedules, the quality of materials used, and the conformity of the work performed with design documentation and established technical requirements. Manasbek Samidinov noted that the implementation of these projects is of strategic importance for developing Kyrgyzstan's civil aviation, improving transport accessibility in the regions, and strengthening the country's international aviation potential.
"We face a clear task: to ensure high-quality construction and adhere to established deadlines. We are building not just new airports, but modern aviation infrastructure that will serve our citizens for decades to come," Manasbek Samidinov stated.
Construction is underway on a new, modern terminal complex covering an area of over 25,000 square meters at Osh International Airport. The new terminal will increase the airport's capacity, create comfortable conditions for passenger service, and expand opportunities for the development of domestic and international air travel.
Following the inspection, a directive was issued to complete the construction of the new terminal complex at Osh International Airport by the end of 2026.
Meanwhile, large-scale work is also in progress at the new Jalal-Abad International Airport. The project envisages the construction of modern airport infrastructure. This includes an airport terminal complex, a runway, and the necessary facilities to ensure the safe and efficient servicing of aircraft.
As directed by the Chairman of the Board of "Manas International Airport" OJSC, the construction of the new Jalal-Abad International Airport is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2027.
