Meeting of Kyrgyz-Kazakh Intergovernmental Council held in Astana

Bishkek, Nov. 13, 2025. /Kabar/. The 13th restricted-attendance meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Astana.

The meeting was chaired by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of Kazakstan Adylbek Kasymaliev and Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of documents signed following previous summits between the Presidents of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, including the Comprehensive Cooperation Plan for 2025–2027 and the Roadmap for Increasing Trade Turnover by 2030.

The parties discussed current issues of cooperation in trade, economics, water and energy, culture, humanitarian affairs, and other areas.
