According to her, teachers' salaries have already been increased by 100%, and another 100% increase is expected in the near future.
"In 2022, as part of the implementation of STEAM programs for natural sciences, salaries were increased by 20%, and by 80% for teachers overall. This is a great support for us, but also a great responsibility," the minister noted.
She added that funding for the education sector has reached 100 billion soms.
Furthermore, according to Kendirbaeva, a significant salary increase is envisaged for methodologists who provide training and developmental work to teachers. Previously, their salaries ranged from 12,000 to 18,000 soms. The salaries of technical staff at educational institutions will also increase significantly.
