Bishkek, Dec. 26, 2025. /Kabar/. The delegate representing the interests of migrants living in Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Slovakia voiced their concerns at the 4th People's Kurultai.
Kylych Turatov reported that migrants living in the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Slovakia are asking for embassies to be opened in these countries, as they have to travel to countries with Kyrgyz diplomatic missions to obtain documents.
He also requested that Kyrgyz citizenship be granted to students who hold Kazakh citizenship but are coming to Kyrgyzstan to study, and organize business competition for Kyrgyz citizens living in other countries.
Turatov also emphasized that migrants officially residing in Kazakhstan experience difficulties entering Kyrgyzstan by car due to their license plates, forcing them to abandon their vehicles at the border.
