Bishkek, March 17, 2026. /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic Nadira Dzhusupbekova met today with representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Kyrgyzstan, the ministry's press service reported.
The parties discussed a project to develop leadership skills among young people with hearing and speech impairments, as well as expanding their opportunities for social integration. The initiative already includes training sessions for participants over 18 years of age, and plans for internships in Japan for the most active participants.
The deputy minister noted that inclusive classes are being opened in the country, and corresponding programs for teachers and online learning for children with severe disabilities are being implemented.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation and joint work to develop inclusive education in Kyrgyzstan.
