Bishkek, May 29, 2026 /Kabar/. In Cholpon-Ata city, the department of environmental monitoring under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment, and Technical Supervision collected water samples from the beach located along the shores of Issyk-Kul resorts.
According to Sagynbek uulu Mambetmin, Deputy Director of the Department of Environmental Monitoring, specialists are checking the water quality in the lake area.
He stated that the relevant reports will be prepared based on the results of the studies and submitted to the authorized bodies for further work.
The water sampling is conducted every three months.
