Moscow to host CIS International Economic Forum on 3 April

The International Economic Forum of the CIS member states will take place in Moscow on 3 April, CIS Deputy Secretary General Ilkhom Nematov said at a press conference, BelTA has learned.

According to Ilkhom Nematov, the forum will mark the 35th anniversary of the CIS and focus on the development of the Greater Eurasian Partnership. Around 2,000 participants are expected to attend, including representatives of CIS governments and public administration bodies, the banking and academic communities, industrial leaders and entrepreneurs, as well as heads of several integration structures. On the sidelines of the forum, a meeting of the CIS Economic Council will be held, with the deputy prime ministers of the CIS countries serving as its members.

The forum’s program includes a plenary session and thematic panel discussions. These will address the development of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, the transformation of the labor market in the CIS, healthcare issues, the construction sector, industrial cooperation, finance and payment system development, and the formation of a common scientific and technological space.
