National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and CertiK to collaborate on digital assets

Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2026 /Kabar/. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and the international company CertiK signed a memorandum of understanding. The memorandum aims to develop cooperation and exchange experience in the fields of cybersecurity, digital financial technologies, blockchain technologies, and digital assets.

According to the National Bank's press service, the memorandum was signed during a meeting between Sanjar Abdygaziyev, a member of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, and representatives of CertiK.

According to the document, the parties intend to collaborate on issues of digital asset and blockchain infrastructure security, risk monitoring and assessment, compliance, and modern approaches to combating money laundering and terrorist financing in the digital asset sector.

The cooperation also includes the exchange of international experience and expertise, consultations and working meetings, and the consideration of potential joint initiatives in areas of mutual interest.
