Bishkek, Sept. 1, 2025 /Kabar/. Today, the new 2025/2026 academic year has begun in educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan. The traditional First Bell will ring in schools across the country.
According to the Ministry of Education, about 207 thousand children will go to grades 1–2 this year.
The department has also determined the topics for the first lessons:
for grades 1 — “I’m going to school — a treasure of knowledge!”;
for grades 2–4 — “My favorite school — my blooming Motherland!”;
for grades 5–9 — “Who do I want to become and how will the new school help me with this?”;
for grades 10–11 — “Education of the Future: What Does the Altyn Kazyk Program Give Me?”
From September 1, education in schools in Kyrgyzstan will be conducted according to the new State Educational Standard. Subject standards and programs for all grades — from 1st to 12th — have been updated.
