Bishkek, Jan. 20, 2026. /Kabar/. Talantbek Tashibekov has been appointed Chairman of the National Agency for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations of Kyrgyzstan, the Presidential Administration reported.
The agency was previously headed by Azamat Yusupov. He was relieved of his post on December 8, 2025.
Earlier, in April 2025, the State Commission on Religious Affairs was transformed into the National Agency for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations under the President.
