No Kyrgyz citizens injured in airstrike on Doha

Bishkek, Sept. 11, 2025 /Kabar/. According to the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the State of Qatar, no Kyrgyz citizens were injured as a result of the airstrike on the city of Doha on September 9.

The diplomatic mission noted that they maintain constant contact with Kyrgyzstanis in Qatar and continue to monitor the current situation.

The embassy recommended that citizens follow official information from local authorities and take precautions.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Israeli launched an airstrike against the leaders of Hamas in Qatar. The main damage was done to residential buildings where a delegation of Hamas leaders had arrived to discuss the latest US reconciliation proposal. Qatar condemned the Israeli attack.

The Qatari authorities announced the creation of a legal team to prepare a legal response to the Israeli strike on a residential area. Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani noted that Israel's actions violate international law and undermine the US-initiated peace process in the Gaza Strip.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov condemned the missile strikes that took place on September 9 in Doha.

"These actions violate the principles of international law and the UN Charter, and also damage the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the State of Qatar," the president said in a statement.
