Bishkek, Dec. 8, 2025 /Kabar/. Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev, on behalf of President Sadyr Zhaparov, inspected construction work on Chui Avenue in Bishkek.

According to the State Committee, the construction of shopping centers, parking lots, and public transportation stops along the Aichurek Central Mall (TZUM) and the Chynar Mall (GUM) had previously been actively discussed on social media.

In this regard, the Chairman after reviewing the situation on the ground, immediately ordered the dismantling of structures and stops along the road that were narrowing the roadway.

Kamchybek Tashiev also instructed the Ministry of Construction, the Mayors office, and other responsible officials to promptly restore the roadway, which is crucial for traffic in the capital, and to create comfortable conditions for residents.

In turn, the construction company's management committed to restoring the road and restoring the infrastructure, promising to complete the work as quickly as possible.

As a reminder, one of the city's key infrastructure projects, the Old Bishkek underground complex, is ongoing in central Bishkek. As of the end of October, approximately 80% of the total construction work had been completed. Due to this, the road section was closed for 7-8 months.
