Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2025 /Kabar/. Series of premieres of "Semetey" play will take place in 2025 as part of Kyrgyzstan-Korea cooperation in culture and the arts, the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. The play's first performance took place on November 27-28, 2025, in Gwangju, Republic of Korea.
Premier performances in Kyrgyzstan will take place on December 11-12, 2025, at 7:30 PM at Opera and Ballet Theater.
The play "Semetey" is important cultural project aimed at promoting Kyrgyz culture internationally, developing bilateral cultural diplomacy, and strengthening friendly relations between the countries. The ministry added that the project is being implemented in partnership with the Asian Cultural Center (ACC).
