Bishkek, March 11, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov announced that the country's government has already transitioned to an electronic format, which has significantly reduced costs. Addressing members of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament), the head of state noted that the Cabinet transferred three years ago.
According to the president, eliminating paperwork has saved billions of soms in budget funds.
"We transitioned the government to electronic format three years ago. We saved billions. Let's then channel those savings into your funds," Zhaparov said, addressing the deputies.
The president emphasized that digitalization of government agencies not only speeds up work but also significantly reduces government spending.
