Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov sent a telegram of condolences to Nepalese President Ram Chandra Paudel over the loss of life in the mudflow.
"It is with deep sorrow that I received the tragic news of numerous casualties and significant destruction caused by the mudflows in the border areas of Nepal.
"On behalf of the people of the Kyrgyz Republic and on my own behalf, I express my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. I share their pain and grief, and I wish all those injured a speedy recovery," the telegram says.
