The complex is located on the premises of military unit No. 2024 in Osh city.

As part of the border infrastructure upgrade, the military compound underwent a complete reconstruction. Major renovations were carried out on the headquarters, barracks, mess hall, medical unit, sports hall, recreation center, warehouses, and vehicle depot. A multi-story dormitory, a bath and laundry complex, a mini-football field, a tennis court, and training grounds were also built for military personnel.

In addition, internal roads, lighting, and fencing were upgraded, and the grounds were landscaped.

All construction work was funded by the republic's budget.

According to the State Border Service, large-scale efforts have been underway over the past five years to strengthen border infrastructure, upgrade weaponry and equipment, and build new border outposts.
