Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov took part in the High-Level Segment of the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
From the high rostrum of the UN, Edil Baisalov announced the final agreement on the line of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border, calling this event a historic triumph of diplomacy and political will.
"This agreement became possible thanks to the far-sighted leadership of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, his tireless efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region. We have proven that even the most difficult issues can be resolved through dialogue, mutual respect and trust," Baisalov emphasized.
In addition, he announced the holding of the first ever trilateral summit of the heads of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in Khujand on March 31, which will be an important step in strengthening regional cooperation.
