Bishkek, Feb. 6, 2025 /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Italy Taalai Bazarbaev held a meeting with Director General of the Office for Italians Abroad and Migration Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Luigi Vignali.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that during the talks the parties discussed a wide range of topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the consular sphere. In particular, issues of intensifying joint work aimed at developing interaction and possible signing of agreements in the field of migration, security, as well as mutual recognition and conversion of driver's licenses were discussed.
Special attention was paid to the issue of effective and regulated employment of Kyrgyz citizens in Italy within the framework of previously reached Agreements between the parties.
Following the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the possibility of organizing the first consular consultations between the foreign ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Italy in 2025 for further positive interaction in the interests of the two states.
