Bishkek, Feb. 28, 2025. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Erbol Sultanbaev held a meeting with Chairman of the Union of Writers of Belarus Alexander Karlyukevich.
According to the diplomatic mission, the parties discussed the prospects for implementing joint literary projects, including an event dedicated to the work of the Kyrgyz and Soviet writer Chyngyz Aitmatov as part of the National Day of the Kyrgyz Republic at the International Book Fair, which will be held on March 13, 2025 in Minsk.
Prospects for joint work to popularize the works of Kyrgyz and Belarusian authors, as well as the translation and publication of fiction of the two countries, were also discussed.
