Relations between Kyrgyzstan and Germany in trade and economic sphere discussed in Berlin

Bishkek, Feb. 4, 2025 /Kabar/. On February 3, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Omurbek Tekebaev met with head of the representative office of the German economy in Central Asia Eduard Kinsbruner.

The diplomatic mission said that Eduard Kinsbruner noted the intensification of relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany in the trade and economic sphere observed in recent years. As confirmation, he emphasized the annual holding of meetings of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council, as well as the successful organization of business forums in 2024 in Munich and Frankfurt am Main. In this regard, Kinsbruner informed about the planned opning of a representative office of the German economy in Bishkek this year.

Ambassador Omurbek Tekebaev expressed his readiness to support initiatives that promote the development of business contacts between the two countries and emphasized the importance of intensifying Kyrgyz-German economic ties. During the meeting, the parties also discussed the agenda of upcoming events in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025, aimed at further strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.
